Sign in and reset your password

GodSetter signs you in with email and password. A passwordless magic link is available as an alternative, and a password reset is always one click away from the sign-in form. This guide covers all three, plus the email confirmation that comes right after registration.

Sign in with your password

The sign-in page asks for two things — Email and Password — and the button reads "Sign in". On success you land straight in the console, on your Dashboard.

If it fails you get one of two messages:

• "Invalid email or password." — deliberately the same message whether the address has no account or the password is wrong. Telling the two apart would turn the form into a way for strangers to discover which of your colleagues have accounts.
• "Confirm your email first: click the link we sent you." — the account exists but was never activated. Open the confirmation email and click its link (see the last section).

The password field has no minimum length here: it is checking an existing credential, so a password set before the current 8-character minimum still works.

Magic link (no password)

Under the form, "Prefer to go passwordless?" offers "Send a magic link". Enter your email, press "Send me the magic link" and the card turns into a "Link sent" panel: open the message and click the link to sign in — you can close the tab you started from.

One limit worth knowing: the magic link only signs in an address that already has an account. It never creates one. To register a new agency use Create your agency account; to join an existing one, use the invite link your colleague sent you (Invite your team).

Forgot your password

Next to the Password label there is "Forgot your password?". It swaps the card for the recovery form: enter your email, press "Send me the link" and you get the panel "Email sent" — "If an account exists for … you'll get a link to set a new password."

That wording is exact and intentional: the confirmation is identical whether or not the address has an account, for the same reason as the generic sign-in error. If no email arrives, the most likely explanation is a different address (or a typo), not a broken system — check your spam folder, then try the address you actually registered with.

Set your new password

The link in the recovery email opens the "New password" page with your session already established, so there is no code to paste. Type the new password twice:

• at least 8 characters;
• the two fields must match, or you get "The two passwords don't match.".

Press "Save password" and you are taken straight into the console — no second sign-in with the brand-new password. From then on the password works everywhere.

This page is also how an account that only ever used magic links gets its first password: "forgot password" works even for a user who never had one. And it is single-purpose: opening it without following a recovery link sends you back to the sign-in page, because there is no session to update.

After registration: confirm your email

A brand-new agency account is not usable until it is confirmed. Registration ends on a "Check your email" panel; the link in that message activates the account, signs you in and provisions your agency workspace in one go, landing you on the Initial setup page with the nine readiness checks — The onboarding checklist explained.

Until you click it, signing in returns "Confirm your email first: click the link we sent you.".

If you still can't get in

• You were invited to a colleague's agency. Sign up or sign in with exactly the address the invite was sent to. A different address creates (or opens) a separate account that is not in that agency.
• You are sure of the password but sign-in fails. Use "Forgot your password?" — it also covers the case of a password you believe you set but never actually did.
• The magic link says the account cannot be used. That address has no account: register the agency, or ask for a team invite.
• You sign in but the console looks empty. That is not an auth problem: nothing is wired yet. Work through the readiness checks on the dashboard.
